Nothing could be easier, just pop them into a ready made duvet cover, readily found at leading department stores, or make one yourself.

The crib size covers are particularly easy to make.

• We suggest you use soft and cuddly cotton flannel material.
• Cut material to 45" X 60", which allows for a 1" seam around. The batt is 45" X 60" so it will be stuffed just a little and make it more cushy.
• With right sides together, sew up 3 sides (the 2- 60" sides and 1- 45" side).
• Finish off the last 45" side with sew-on snap tape (available at any good fabric store and is safer for babies since they are almost impossible to chew off).
• Turn the cover right side out, stuff the comforter into finished cover, and snap closed.

  It's just as easy to make a bigger duvet cover too.
  • You need 2 flat sheets, trimmed to the same size as the comforter (as mentioned in the directions for the crib size, this means your comforter will be stuffed in slightly and be cushier)
  • We like to use a flannel sheet for the bottom, it's warm and cozy and it doesn't slide around as much. The top can be a good quality percale sheet that matches your decor.
  • With the right sides together, allow 1" seam and sew 3 sides together. Leave the top hem on sheets open.
  • The open side can now be finished with velcro, snaps (or snap tape), or buttons and buttonholes. In Europe and Scandinavia we noticed they put 2 to 4 ties to tie it closed. Choose whatever method suits you best.
  • Turn right sides out and stuff your comforter batt inside. You're now ready for the warmest, most cuddly experience of your life ! (well, maybe the the 2nd ......)

    These comforter batts are truly a renewable resource. After years of use, if you feel you would like it renewed, it can be returned to the mill and they will recard- recover for a nominal fee.

    CARE OF YOUR COMFORTER-- It's easy!! Remove the duvet cover to wash when needed. You can fluff up the comforter batt in the dryer set on AIR ONLY. When the time comes that the comforter batt needs cleaning, these [instructions] are included.
